Hi, Everybody!
I'm going to connect to Project Server 2003 (English version, Windows 2003
Server ENG, with Hungarian language settings for non-Unicode programs) from
my desktop comp (Windows XP HUN, with Hungarian language settings for
non-Unicode programs). I get a message: "Cannot connect. Project was unable
to establish a conenction with the selected Project Server. This could be
caused by losss off network connectivity, invalid user name or password..."
, etc. etc. But if I change language settings for non-Unicode programs on my
client to English, everyting works fine: I can connect, I can open projects
form my Project 2003 Prof from SQL serever db. (BTW, PWA works in both
situations without any problem)
I examined this problem with Project Server 2002 too, but there I could make
some changes in system registry, adding registry keys with code page
numbers. This solution didn't help me in this case.
Did anyone meet this problem? What is the solution?
(I need to use my own language setting on clients bacause of other reasons)
Thanks,
Szabti
