Cannot connect Project 2003 Pro to Project 2003 Server

We can connect to it through Project Web Access and can even test the client
connection in Project 2003 Pro. The interesting item is that when you try to
login to Project 2003 Pro we recieve a message saying "Cannot connect.
Project was unable to establish a connection with the selected Project
Server." I can access PWA and also create a client connection and click on
the "Test Connection" button and it succeeds. I have tried using the
"Administrator" account and creating a test PWA account that has rights to
open projects up in Project 2003 Pro. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Mike

I have found this to be an issue using the "Named Pipes" SQLClient protocol
rather than TCP/IP. It seems that just by creating a System DSN pointing at
the IP address of your data server (that hosts the Project 03 DB), and
specifying TCPIP as the transport, the Pro fat client wakes up and smells
the coffee (data).

HTH,
Alex
