cannot convert x.asp clipart files

I'm running Publisher 2002 (Office XP) on XP OS.

My problem is this: when I do a search for clipart, most
of the retrieved files are displayed as "x.asp". Upon
clicking on any of those files, I receive
message "Publisher cannot convert this picture".
Oookaay...so then I ran Office XP Setup and updated the
Converters and Filters (completed successfully) but still
having the same problem.

Any/All help is greatly appreciated.

Did you do the following?

To resolve this problem, right-click the clip, and then click Preview/Properties on
the shortcut menu. When you are prompted, click Yes to install the graphics filter.

Or, install the filters manually. To do this, follow these steps:
Run Office XP Setup.
Click Add or Remove Features, and then click Next.
Click the plus sign next to Office Shared Features, and then click the plus sign next
to Converters and Filters.
Click Graphics Filters, and then click Run from My Computer on the shortcut menu.
Click Update.

Be certain your cache is not full, right-click the browser icon, properties, delete
files or within IE, tools, Internet Options, delete files.
