Cannot Copy Calendar Items

I want to copy a calendar to another folder within Public
Folders. When I do, all the appointments lose their start
and end date in the new calendar and thus don't show up
on the day view, week view, month view, etc.

How can I copy a calendar so all of the appointments
carry over intact?
