Cannot copy mailbox. The parameter is incorrect

I got the access denied messages for a .pst file I have on my E drive - so I
tried the suggestion offered earlier to try copying the file to hard drive
and unchecking the read only. But I get the above message. (by the way -
the read only box is not checked).

You should probably know that I received this message after unplugging
everything to put in a surge protector.

"Delay Write Failed. Windows was unable to save all the data for the file
E:\....... the data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of
your computer hardware or network connection. Please try to save this file
elsewhere."

I cannot save, move or copy this file anywhere. Does anyone have any
suggestions?

Sounds like you might have interrupted the CD burning process while it was
still in process. If so, the PST you copied is toast.

My "E" drive is a zip drive - everything I have on the disc is ok except that
..pst file. It's asking me to define parameters. The "Delayed Write Failed"
message is a Windows message as far as I can tell. Is there something I can
do to recover this file? ie file recovery software?

Your post didn't mention that, so how was I to know.

From when your were trying to write the PST to the Zip drive, perhaps.
Is there something I can do to recover this file? ie file
recovery software?

There are commercially available third party tools that can recover from
some degree of failure in PSTs. None are free.
