cannot copy or paste word in word document

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me here. I have a word
document done using microsoft office 2003.

For some unknown reason, i don't understand why it doesn't let me copy or
paste any words from it to another documents.

What might be the possible causes for this? how do i resolve this?

FRUSTRATED TO THE BITTER END!!!

is the document that you are using secured? or locked in any way? did you
create this document your self? if you didn't, it might be protected by the
owner (the person that created it) of the document.

if you are the one that is the owner of the document, i would suggest
running some office updates before going any further with any other
documents. some times the microsoft update doesn't really catch all of the
office updates that you need.
