Cannot create a new project from Project Center

When I attempt to create a new project, I get a message that says:
"Microsoft Office Professional 2007 is required for this action. Ensure that
your copy of Project Professional 2007 can connect to this server. If both
of these conditions are true and you still get this message, contact your
system administrator for assistance."

Well, I am the system admin--a brand new one. It's my first Project Server
installation. I can open PS2007 on my workstation, create a project plan,
and save and publish it. It then shows up in PWA in Project Center. So,
both of these conditions are true--I do have PS2007 installed and I can
connect to my project server with my copy of PS2007. What else could be the
problem?

In Microsoft Project Professional 2007, does the URL in your Project Server
login account EXACTLY MATCH the URL you are using to access PWA? If not,
they need to be identical. Let us know.

You need to set the "Manually Control Connection State" in the Project
Server Accounts Setup page.
