Cannot delete nonproject tasks

We transferred a few items from Outlook into Project
Enterprise under Nonproject. Now we want to delete them
as they are no longer needed. When we try to hide/delete
or reject these tasks a message comes up saying we cannot
delete because they are nonproject tasks...

How do we get around this?
