Cannot Delete Timeshee Period with Actual Hours

I have a Project Server 2007 setup and recently created Timesheet Period for
current month. There were some active tasks for this month and it
autopopulated the hours based on the percent complete for those tasks. In
Timesheet Peirod setup screen, I cannot delete the timesheet period as I can
for any other periods that does not have any hours associated. Is there a
way to delete this in the record?

You cannot delete a timesheet period if there are any timesheets associated
to it, regardless of having actuals or not.

The only way to do this is to delete all the timesheets in that period via
PWA's "Server Settings>Delete Enterprise Objects" first.
