cannot display new appointments in Outlook 2003

Hi,

I just updated to Outlook 2003 today (from Outlook XP). I cannot seem to
save new appointments in the calendar any more. My old appointments are all
there and seem to work, but I can't see any newly created ones.
Interestingly enough, when I sync to my Treo (via Intellisync), the new
appointments show up on my Treo. When I create an appointment on my Treo
and resync, the appointments still don't show up on the calendar.

I'm hoping someone can help, as a calendaring program that doesn't allow you
to see the entries you've created is not very useful!
