Cannot double-click graph to edit

I have several new installations of Office 2003 that I've noticed when trying
to edit a graph in Powerpoint, I have to right-click and select Edit, instead
of just double-clicking the graph, like all the tutorials mention to do. Any
ideas appreciated.

I do not have the Swiff player installed, unless it does not show under the program list for Add/Remove programs. Would that have been bundled with anything in particular?

Wow! I unloaded the WebEx add-in as you mentioned (it was the only listed, by
the way) and I could immediately double-click to edit the graph. thank you
for your help.
