Cannot drag and drop JPG file into OLE control

When I try to drag and drop a JPG file into an OLE
control I get the following message.
"The connection with the OLE server was lost, or the OLE
server encountered an error while you were using it."

This process works fine on another computer using this
same database but NOT on my main computer.
