Cannot Edit Clipart

Jeremy

I have a basic question about the clipart in Microsoft Word
2002, (well, in all Office products actually).

I used to be able to insert clipart images after searching
for them in the online collection, and then right click on
these images and select "Edit Picture". This would smooth
the image out quite nicely and allow me to do things like
change colours or delete parts of the image that I didn't
want.

My question is, this was working find for me until
recently. Clicking on "Edit Picture" does not seem to do
anything now. I cannot think of any applications of
settings changes I have made recently that would have
caused this.

If anyone know what the problem is, I would appreciate
their help.
Thank you.

G'day "Jeremy" <[email protected]>,

load the clipart directly into a paint package and fiddle first. If
you have trouble doing this, you can always do a screen shot and edit
that nicely. I believe MS Publisher fiddles with clipart - not 100% on
that though.

Hi Jeremy,

Go into Tools/Customize/Commands, "Drawing" category. Look
for the Dissemble Picture command and drag it to your Drawing
toolbar. Click once on the picture, then on this button. This
should break a clipart down into its individual "pieces".
