Cannot edit encrypted MS Office files on network share

MS Word says that file is in use by "another user" and offers to open a copy,
Excel says that file is read-only or encrypted and refuses access to it. All
files could be encrypted and decrypted without problems. However, encrypted
text files could be opened and edited without problems in Notepad.

Both client (Windows XP SP2, Office 2003 SP2) and server (Windows 2003
Server SP1) have option "Trust computer for delegation" set.

Any ideas?
