Cannot edit shared calendar, permissions appear correct

This is the problem reported by a user. I've googled myself to death
and scanned this forum and can't figure out a solution. Please help
if you know one. Thanks!

A) calendar. No one can edit hers and (supervisor A), (supervisor
B)., (supervisor C) and (supervisor D) can’t edit mine even though
they are down as editors. Changing them to authors didn’t work
either.

We did just get a new hire and I am an editor in his and it works."

All computers are running MS XPP sp2, Outlook 2003, and we use
Exchange Server 2003. All computers are current with updates.
