cannot exit design mode. Cannot execute cmdsave

I've got some macros set up using vbscript to activate
buttons on the form. A couple of the PC's on the network
keep trying to access the form in design mode, even though
it's protected. The above mentioned error message is
displayed each time the word .doc is accessed... any
ideas? THanks!
