Are you using the publisher printer to create your .ps?
You also may need to upgrade to the newer version of
acrobat. Have not had a chance to use 6, but 5.5 should
do it. Could also be a job option setting when you distil
the the file. Not sure if AD3.0 has job options. Would
be happy to try to distill the pdf for you to see if the
colors come out properly in 5.5
