Cannot find forgotten shortcut key for macro

B

Bambi Lynne

I created a macro and assigned a keyboard shortcut to it. I forgot what the
shortcut is and now I can't find the shortcut. Can someone tell me where to
find the name of the macro shortcut? I know I can click on the name of the
macro and enter it, but I really want to know where I can find the macro
shortcut names.

In Word 2003 or earlier, click Tools > Customize > Keyboard. In Word 2007, click
Office button > Word Options > Customize > Keyboard shortcuts Customize.

In either case, set the category to Macros (near the bottom of the list), then
click the name of your macro in the right-hand list. The Current Keys box will
show what shortcut is assigned to it.

You can view all the hotkeys if you call up the Print dialog and
under Print What? select shortcuts.
