Cannot fix, rebuild database

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel I have had this error for over a year now. Whenever I start up an Mac Office app while opening Entourage especially it says that it cannot access database. It suggests to attempt to fix, rebuild database. However, when the window comes up to fix, rebuild database there is none listed to choose from. Help please!

This means the database is too corrupted to even read. Do you have a
database that will open?

Under About Entourage in the Menu bar, what version do you have installed?
