Cannot get my hotmail email using Outlook running Win 98, Ofc 200.

I am using Win 98 second edition, Office 2000 outlook and connot recieve
email from my hotmail account. How do I set up the new account in Outlook? I
heard that Microsoft free hotmail will not allow it.

You heard correctly. You have to have a Hotmail Plus or Hotmail Premium
account.

Outlook 2000 never supported Hotmail and as of Sept 2004, free hotmail is
not longer accessible in outlook to new users. You'll need to use the web
interface or a 3rd party utility.
