May we presume that Outlook is already installed successfully?

Hi,

I can not install business contact manager for outlook 2007 either, and am
getting the exact same error:

Error 1316. Setup cannot read from file D:\OFFICE\o2007pia.msi.

I looked on the dvd (2 of 2) and the file is not there; its not on the other
disk (1 of 2) either. Both are official MS disks.

I got the after buying MS Office for Small Busiess 2007 with my new PC (ie
it is the OEM version) and then by paying for MS to send me the disks.

Please let me know what I should do next.

Thanks, Rob

oh - and yes MS Outlook is installed fine (however not from these disks but
the ones used by the retailer who built my new system).

Resolved this myself.

1. created a new directory on my hard drive
2. copied the entire contents of disk 2 of 2 into it
3. got a copy of o2007pia.msi file from the internet (
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...aa-bed4-4282-a28c-b864d8bfa513&displaylang=en
and ran)
4. copied the 02007pia.msi file to the /Office subdirectory of the new
directory that I created in 1. above
5. ran the setup program in the new directory that created in 1. above

MS your welcome to send me an updated set of Office 2007 disks :)
