Tried using the office website and downloading the file. Keep getting errors

based on the error code, that might be source for this product is not
available.
1. repair your office 2003 from add/remove programs,
2. try to download from this link below :
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...49-3E13-433B-B9D2-5E3C1132F206&displaylang=en
click "save" and run it manually.
if the steps above gets the same error result, check your log file under
%temp%\ohotfix, you will find OHotfix(00001)_Msi.log, check the detail error
message on this file.

And when I try to put in the UPDATE OFFICE 2003 PRO CD it gives this error:
"The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the
source exists and that you can access it."

Tony,
since you're not able to repair your office, i suspect that some files are
missing or corrupted, you may need to remove your office and reinstall. You
can use Windows Cleanup utility to remove your office 2003.
1. download and install Windows Cleanup utility from :
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301/en-us
2. After you install the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility, click Start
menu-> All
Programs-> Windows Install Clean Up.
3. Highlight Microsoft Office entry in the list and then click Remove.
4. Reinstall your office 2003.

Thank you for the reply, but I am not prepared to wipe and reinstall.
I rely on my contacts and calendar too much to take a chance on losing
groups and appointments.
I have all of the media, yet a "repair" says it cannot find the install
media.
I got a new PDA and wanted to fix the holiday problem, but I entered them
manually.
I need to keep working and use the software I paid dearly for.
I am not yet prepared to buy a new work machine even though I use Vista and
Office 2007 at home.
