I am trying to update my Office 2003 Pro, but cannot install the updates. I
am able to get the wizard page to check for available updates I need, and
actuall will go to the page that lists all the updates it will install. Now
comes the problem. I first started getting an error message saying it could
not find PRO11.msi file, and to get installation disk. At the time, I did not
have the disk available, and tried it again after I found the CD. Now, when
it comes time to install the updates found, I do not get the link or option
that tells me that it cannot find the PRO11.msi file, and just starts trying
to install the updates. After about five minutes I get an error saying the
installation of updates failed and shows all the updates, about 4 of them,
that did not install properly.
My question is, why do I not get the prompt to look for the PRO11.msi file
any longer, as I can now point it the CD, which I did see that file on? Any
suggestions on how to remedy this problem
