cannot log on using classic mode

I am using a G5 using 10.3.3 and am running Outlook 2001 in native OS 9.
I am able to set up my Exchange mailbox using the "outlook settings" under
the control panel in native, but when I start the application it says that "the
set of folders cannot be opened...and that outlook could not be opened"
any ideas?

Thanks,

Chris Pendl

Assuming the Name suppplied to Outlook is EXCHANGE and the OsX tcp/ip
setting has "domain search" with DOMAIN listed. Can you ping
EXCHANGE.DOMAIN ?

If not then try vi /etc/hosts
and add

EXCHANGE CNAME EXCHANGE.DOMAIN
EXCHANGE.DOMAIN A 123.345.567.789

or if you get tired of doing this to all your Mac Stations use a DNS
Server.
