Cannot login to Access 2003 DB in 2007

I purchased and read Garry Robinsons excellent book, "Microsoft Access
Database Protection and Security" for use in creating our Access 2003
databases here at work. I used to access all of my databases using security
shortcuts as outlined in the book starting page 323. I just had Office 2007
installed on my computer and now none of these shortcuts work not to mention
I cannot get into my databases. Can someone please point me in the right
direction on how to use shortcuts correctly in Access 2007 for databases
created in Access 2003 with the secured workgroup file on a server? Thanks
for any and all help provided.

If you look at the properties of the shortcut (right-click...properties), you'll see the 'target' line. It will have the following on it..
"path to msaccess.exe" "path to secure mdb" /wrkgrp "path to secure mdw"

Your existing shortcut has the path to Access 2003 at the start. You need to change it to the path to Access 2007. You can use Start, Search and locate msaccess.exe on your computer to get the correct path.
