Cannot login with administrator after installation

Hi Experts,

I have installed Project Server then Project Portfolio and then SP1 and I
can browse through the Porfolio Admin page using a Demo account. Basically I
want to setup a Gateway and for that I need rights. Here's the problem!

I created a new user Administrator in Porftfolio using Account Maitenance
Page and then did the needful. I can now see the account and changed
passwords and logged in but invain. I have emptied the cache but no luck.

Why cant I login with Administrator and its says in Red "Wrong admin or
password"

Ok now Managed to get Domain\Administrator working but dont have rights for
anything...Went to User Group Management and User Management but looks and
gave allow all but invain.

Is there a backdoor because I am really going crazy with this product!
