Portfolio Server 2007 and Project Server Gateway

Hi All,

I'm dealing with the installation and testing of Project Portfolio
Server

the issue is with the Project Server Gateway configuration. the
following list summaries my infrastructure:

- Windows Server 2008 R2 (x64) running Project Server 2007 and SQL
Server 2008

- Windows Server 2003 R2 running Portfolio Server 2007

- Windows Server 2003 R2 running SQL Server 2005 for the Portfolio
Server databases

the following steps summarizes the work that I have performed:

- created a domain user (DOMAIN\Project_Gateway)
- added the new user as an Admin into the three servers
- added the new user in wss central admin (farm admin)
- added the new user in portfolio server (admin)
- added the new user in Project server (admin)
- in the sql server add the write and create permission in the PPS
databases to the new user
- in central admin - Manage Shared Services between Farms - set "this
farm will provide shared services to other farm" and add the new user
in the "provide Shared Services
- in Shared Services Administrator - edit Shared Service Provider - in
"Process Accounts with access to this SSP " add the new user
- in the Portfolio "box", in IIS, set the new user to run the
"application pool" and to run the "Project Portfolio Server Sheduler"
service
- in Portfolio Server set up the following parameters:
* Project Server Web Service URL => http://<Server Name>5:56737/
Demo_ProjectServer_SSP
* Project Web Access (PWA) URL => http://<Server Name>:8080/
demopwa
* Authentication Type => Windows integrated authentication

N.B. http://<Server Name>:56737/Demo_ProjectServer_SSP/psi/
project.asmx is going to show mw the right webservice!!!!!

when I try to use the gateway (for example using the "Attribute
Mapping Template Management", to create a mapping between Portfolio
and Project) there is the following error:

The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized.

Why? where is the problem??? please help me..

thanks all

Vit
