I run a data download from the warehouse each month and
generate Pivot Tables on the results.
I expand the Pivot table Input area to include the new
rows of data downloaded, but I am now getting an error:
"Microsoft Excel cannot make this change because there are
too many row or column items. Drag at least one row or
column field off the Pivot table, or to the page
position...."
My data is no where near the limits specified in the KB
article for rows, columns or unique items for Pivot tables
in Excel 2000. Maintaining the layout for these pivot
tables is crucial to other reports, tables and VBA
routines that read them.
Why am I having this problem and how do I overcome it
without removing columns or data groupings in the Pivot
table that will mess up everything else I've got based on
them??
'Preciate any suggestions...
Thanx
