Cannot modify File Locations

Word 2000

I have a user that cannot modify the File Locations in
Word. It just does not change, local or mapped network
drive.
User has full admin rights and does not appear to be set
up any different than all other users who can modify the
path.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi Dave,

This information is stored in the Registry, so the first
place it would occur to me to look would be in the Registry
permissions. Is it possible that someone has applied a
system policy? You might also try asking in the
office.setup newsgroup what might affect this.

Worst case scenario, you'd have to do a reformat/reinstall
or create a new user profile for this person.
