Cannot move messages from exchange account inbox to local folders

When I want to move a message from my exchange inbox to a local folder in
entourage on my computer, a copy is always created. Is there a way to move
the message to a local folder (instead of copying it), where the message is
not deleted, when the original message in the exchange inbox is deleted?

I use Entourage 11.3.6 on Mac OS 10.4.10.

One way is to select the message(s) and then go to "Move to" under the
"Message" menu. You can then select a folder to which to move the message.

Another option is to hold down the Command key when dragging the messages.

Another way is to 'command-drag' the message. Just like the Finder, this
'moves' an item, instead of 'copying'.
