Cannot move or delete email items from inbox

I am having a similar problem to Jerry. I cannot delete messages from my
inbox becasue i get a message stating "the message interface has returned an
unknown error. If the problem persists restart outlook." Just like Jerry
restarting, rebooting and even restoring to a couple of days ago did nothing.
I also cannot send or receive emails, i get the same error. I was able to
delete all the emails out of my delteted folder.

Outlook 2007
Inbox items cannot be purged of anything that I've previously flagged. All
other moved or deleted emails disappear but not anything that I have flagged
to follow up on previously.
