User 1 receives an email with an attachment from a Japanese sender. The
attachment is a .doc and has some Japanese character and English file name.
He could not open the attachment. He forwarded the email to me and I could
open it. The attachment filename does not show some of the Japanese
characters that user 1 has on his system. The Japanese characters become
space on my system.
To get around the problem, he removes the Japanese characters while saving
it. He could open the file.
Is there some setting on his Outlook or Internet Explorer that causes this
problem?
