Cannot open any MS Office program - wants to open in Front Page

I have been using Excel, Office, Powerpoint for years without any problems.
Today, every document I click on requires me to load Front Page. I don't
even know what this program is (please excuse my ignorance). I cannot open
old documents or even the programs themselves. Can anyone help?
