I have one user that is having trouble opening .doc files in Outlook 2003.
When she clicks in a .doc attachment in an e-mail she either has to Save It
to her Pc or cancel. She no longer gets the option to Open. She never use
to have the problem so I am at a loss as to what is causing this. We do not
have any Offcie files rules in place the Exchange server so I know it is not
server side. I found a Microsoft help article on checking for a couple of
registry settings and after trying that the user is still seeing the issue.
I also did a full uninstall and reinstall of Office to no avail. Any help
would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.
