Cannot Open Folders

After an installation of XP SP2, the local machine cannot log into Outlook.
It receives a message, "unable to open default folder. You do not have
permission to log on." All of the folders are on the network, so I am able to
log the user on from any other machine and have them receive and send mail.
The local machine is the problem. I have tried SFC for secure32.dll.

What is stored on the local machine if the network has the folders and how
can I recove this machine.

Try adding Outlook to the firewall's exception list.

Thanks, I tried that; including disabling the firewall altogether. That
didn't work. It seems that under this user, no email accounts can be
accessed. I have created new profiles and they can get all their mail,
except the original user.

What other files or registry settings are blocking this Outlook account.

I'm afraid I'm out of suggestions.
