cannot open mail with enclosure in Outlook 2001 for Mac

Running Panther with classic linked to exchange server.
Whenever I click to open an email with an attachment I
get an error.

"Unable to successfully load all the attached files and
objects in this message."

Then it opens in the background but I cannot access the
enclosed file. Tried rebuilding desk in 9, reinstalling
from mactopia and deleting prefs. Also checked security.

any ideas??

Have you tried rebuilding the mailbox in the exchange
server?

I'm having the EXACT same problem.

There is no issue w/ the Mailbox on the Exchange Server, as it can be
accessed from other machines and OWA. This problem has to do w/
Panther & Outlook 2001.
