Using Office 2007 and Vista. This is a new problem. I have created numerous
templates previously.
The error reads:
Excel cannot open the file PunchList.xltx because the file format of file
extension is not valid. Verify that the file has not been corrupted and that
the file extension matches the format of the file.
If I change the extension from XLTX to .XLT I can open the file. This has
happened twice and I am dually concerned that I have a bug that is going to
reach beyond this. I see the question had been asked and not resolved this
