I am using Excel 2007. I complete a new workbook and save it as an Excel
2007 workbook. I try to open it and I get the following message: "Excel
cannot open the file _____.xlsx becasue the file format or file extension is
not valid. Verify that the file has not been corrupted and that the file
extension matches the format of the file." I do absolutely nothing out of
the ordinary during the save process."
Sometimes, it will allow me to recover the document, but usually a bunch of
the document is missing in the repaired document. When it does this, it
lists the repairs that were made and there is a message "print options
removed".
This is getting very frustrating.
Anybody have any ideas as to what is going on here?
Thanks.
