Yesterday, I upgraded software for my Logitech keyboard
and rebooted my system. When it restarted, my Norton
anti-virus did an automatic live update. Since then, I
can no longer open Outlook 2000.
I tried restoring my system to before I'd upgraded the
software with no change.
I put in the Office CD and tried to repair Outlook. No
go. So, I uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled. It
STILL won't open. I get the error report message that
Outlook encountered a problem and will close.
I can run Word with no trouble at all, and I can run
Outlook Express, which also had no difficulty importing
messages and account settings from Outlook.
I'm totally stumped. I suppose I could reformat and
reload everything, but I really, really hate to do that
if I don't have to. Has anyone encountered this before?
Thanks.
