Cannot open Power Point

I recently purchased Dell Inspiron 1150 notebook &
installed Microsoft Office Standard Edition 2003 which is
also on my Dell Home Computer. I cannot open a specific
Power Point e-mail. I am getting the following message:
This file does not have a program associated with it for
performing this action. Create an association in the
Folder Options control panel."
