Cannot Open Projects in PWA

Cannot open projects in PWA with Open Project button -

I have already completed the following:
1) Ensured that the account in Project Pro exactly
matches the URL as for PWA using Enterprise Options,
Tools, Microsoft Project Server Accounts

2) Made the account default in Project Pro

3) Made sure the URL was the domain name/real Project
Server name. We are not using http://localhost.

4) We have Microsoft Project Professional 2002 installed.

5) Microsoft Project Professional is closed

Have you checked to see if your user has the "Connect to Project Server
using Microsoft Project 2002" feature?

The way I set this when I had the problem was to check the Allow box in
the appropriate security templates (Admin > Manage security > Security
templates), then reapply Global permissions for the appropriate
groups/users using the template(s) I modified - I don't customize my user
permissions on per-user/group basis. But you can also grant the permission
at the user/group level simply by checking it in the Global permissions
section for that user/group.

hi cindy,

i could not find the permission under modify template
called "Connect to Project Server using Microsoft 2002".
is the permission called something else?

There is something called "Open Project" under the
Enteprise Portfolio Mananagment section under security
template permissions

There is also something called "See projects in Project
Center" under Views section under security template
permissions.

I appreciate your help.
