Cannot open Word 97

I have ms office 97 loaded and has been working ok--now
when I try to open Word it jusy flashes and stops. I
uninstalled and reinstalled and have the same problem.

Don't bother uninstalling/reinstalling because it rarely fixes anything. Try

I'm using xp, and used the system restore to a point back a
couple of weeks ago--it fixed my problem--real lucky--Thanks
