I have Microsoft Word XP which has been working fine, except when my computer
hibernates, I get an error message "cannot load speech recognition; do you
want to install it now? I then have to cancel this, but after I do, I have
had no problem access Word. Now I cannot even open Word. I get the error
message: "Error 1706. Setup cannot find the required file. For other
potential solutions to this problem, see C:\ Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office10\1033/SETUP.HLP. This site was not helpful to rectify the
problem. My setup disk is not corrupted. I have had my laptop for over a
year and have never had this problem where I cannot get into my Word program.
