Cannot overwrite Actuals

Issue:

I have a project plan that I'm trying to publish. I have imported the plan
to project server. Next, I have turned off timesheet approval and managed
timeperiods and tried to republish assignments to overwrite actuals. This
does not work though because the pop up to enable me to check overwrite
actuals never appears.

Any ideas why this is so??

PS2003 or PS2007?

2007 has only one "Publish" function, and it does it all! Caught me by
surprise, too!

I've had the same issue.
In my case this was due to a problem with the assignments in one task (I've
cut/paste the assigments from an other project).
I've found the wrong task by selecting tasks one at a time and trying to
republish it.
