Cannot print file from file/open

In word 2002 sp3 I cannot print a file or multiple files from file/open right
click. get an error message. The command you selected is not available from
this shortcut menu. Any ideas

That's correct. You cannot print from Word's File Open dialog. You can print
from Windows Explorer.
