cannot print out documents after automatic updates.Error mesg

After automatic updates were installed I had a problem printing out files
from my documents. Microsoft message appears saying that they have
encountered a problem and needs to close. Very annoying as the documents is
urgently needed

Defining location of problem. Can you successfully print NON-Office
files? NO? Problem is the operating system and printer driver. Try
uninstalling and reinstalling the printer.
