Cannot print to a .ps file using composite CMYK

THinson

Using Publisher 2003, I am trying to print to file to create a post script
file (*.ps) using the composite CMYK option. I have tried several different
..ppd 's with and without the Adobe PostScript Driver. Publisher goes
through the printing process, but does not create a file. Using RGB,
everything works without a problem. Strangely enough, the composite CMYK
option will work occasionally, mostly with smaller files or if the book is
printed page by page (16 page book). The computer in use is a Dell 4550,
Pentium 4 - 2.4, with 1024MB of RAM, 80GB hard drive.

Any help would be appreciate.

TIA

This is an error in Publisher 2003, where large .ps files "dissapear".
The solution, until a fix is released, is as you say to print in smaller
portions (.ps file up to appr. 350 MB).
A think maybe Brian Kvalheim can enlighten this.

However, you need expensive software to create a CMYK PDF.

There is www.quite.com Quite a Box of Tricks or Enfocus Pitstop.
