Cannot publish my website

DWG

Since I upgraded to Publisher 2007, I have only been unable to publish my
website once using FTP.

I'm following the instructions but I continue to get this message:

Cannot save ftp://[actual file name]/index.htm
The folder is marked as read only.

Please help

that can't be the correct publishing path

Prepare, publish, and maintain your Publisher Web site:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/publisher/HA100947601033.aspx
It is written for Pub 2007, and if you are using IE7 instead of IE6, then
the directions for using Vista would apply. FTP uploading has changed with
the introduction of IE7. Pay particular attention to the instructions for
FTP uploading in Vista.

You should consider downloading and installing the free FTP client
FileZilla:
http://filezilla-project.org/ It is likely to be easier for you. Also
peruse this page for the instructions:
http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/documentation/

This article has some good screenshots that may help you understand how to
use FileZilla.

Rob,

Thank you for responding to my questions. I'm completely baffled because I
have published my site repeatedly until I uploaded to Publisher 2007. I've
also done it once since I uploaded to 07, but cannot do it again.

Should be more like,

ftp.domain.com

Default local directory would be the folder your website files are in i.e.,

D:\website

Default remote directory would be, i.e.,

/public_html

(I use FileZilla ver 3.2.8 - recent issue)
