Cannot publish to web using MSPub 2007

Hello,

I recently upgraded to 2007 and when I tried to update my website yesterday
I got this error:

"The folder that this Web page would use to organize supporting files is
already reserved for use in the current location. Please choose a different
name or location for this Web page."

I've never encountered this before with 2003. I save to file name
http://etc, insert the logon and password for the server - overwrite the
index file and it's done.

Everything goes in order but I get the error above at the end when all
appears to have saved and the web site doesn't update.

Can you advise what I am doing wrong? I pulled up the Help feature and am
following it word for word.

Many thanks,

D

Do you use a form on your site?

Are you running Vista? How about IE7? If so, then disregard the following
suggestion and just post back.

If you are running XP and IE6 and it was me, I would log into your website
control panel. Find the file manager and use that to delete all the old
Publisher files. Be careful about deleting webhost files. There is likely to
be a number of them. You are probably only looking for an index.htm file and
an index_files folder. Just clean up the whole directory and then try to
publish again. If you are concerned about not being successful about
republishing your site, then instead of deleting all the host files and
folders, rename them instead, again using the File Manager. Just add "old"
onto the extension. Then they won't be overwritten by the new files, and if
you fail to republish you can remove the "old" and your site will be back up
as it was before.
