Everything went well after the blackout except...
I'm running IIS 5 on a Win2K Server. the web page is up and running but when
I tried to update a few pages in front page and then publish it to the
server, I got and error that forst read;
"A web does not exist at http://(webserver address). Would you like
Front page to create one for you?" This is the address I've used for the
past two years. When I click "OK," I get another box that says

"Unable to open http://(webserver), possible causes are: 1. The webserver
may not have Front Page Server Extensions installed; 2. The server may be
temporarily out of service; 3. If you are connecting through a proxy server,
the proxy settings may be incorrect; 4. An error may have ocurred on the
web server."

This happens even if I use FrontPage on the same computer running IIS.

The website is accessible from the Internet so I know it's there and
working.

Here's what I've tried so far:
1. Creating a test website on the server and publishing to it, I could
create the test site but got the same error trying to publish to it.
2. Uninstalling and re-installing FrontPage Server Extensions 2002.
3. When I log in as adminstrator and then go to IIS.mmc, rt-clck on the
website and then "Check Server Extensions 2002" I get a page that says you
are not authorized to view this page.
4. I tried running the permissions wizard to give the administrator full
rights but still, no go.
5. I uninstalled and then re-installed IIS and the extensions but still no
help.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Rob

P.S. I know you can just copy stuff to the wwwroot folder but I built the
site with FrontPage and I put in some features that require FrontPage Server
Extensions so I need to publish with FrontPage.
